I recently had the pleasure of hosting Popviewers CEO, Chris Witherspoon on the Everything Matters Podcast. Such a wonderfully fun conversation! Chris is truly an inspiration and trailblazer in the space of content creation and consumption.

Chris is an entrepreneur, entertainment journalist, and producer with a signature, accessible approach to media and culture. His latest tech/entertainment venture is currently in the works and completing its first round of seed funding.

Chris served as an entertainment correspondent for Fandango and CNN and was the Entertainment Editor for NBC’s theGrio.com. He still regularly appears on MSNBC, TODAY, The Wendy Williams Show, and NBC’s Nightly News; and has interviewed the likes of Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, Oprah Winfrey, Will Smith, Viola Davis, Hugh Jackman, Denzel Washington, Harrison Ford and Kerry Washington. Witherspoon got his first taste of media as an intern with ABC’s Good Morning America, and has never looked back. He is an alumnus of the prestigious NBC Page Program and of Ohio University.

Chris is 1 of 11 Black and Latino Founders who were featured on Season 2 of the Peacock network's docu-series, Founding in Color, which highlights the founding journeys of founders of color and the challenges they often face in getting their ideas out into the world. This group of resilient individuals share how they triumph over continuous hurdles and barriers to make things happen for their customers and their families.
